No Cost Summer Meals

Wilson County Schools is offering No Cost Summer Meals through our Summer Feeding Program to all children ages 18 years old or younger during the summer. The service begins June 16 and ends Aug. 7 (Monday through Thursday). Families can pick up meals at the following locations at the designated times: 

• Oasis at Heritage - 11 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.
• Splash Pad - 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Hearne Elementary - 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Lucama Elementary - 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Wells Elementary - 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Vick Elementary - 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Vinson-Bynum Elementary - 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Corner of Citation and Starship - 11:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.
• Toisnot Park - 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
• Windermere Mobile Home Park - 12 p.m. - 12:20 p.m.
• Rotary Park - 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m. 

Only children or their parent/guardian can pick up meals. A release form, which is available at the sites, is required to pick up meals if the child is not present. The sites operate Monday through Thursday and are closed on Fridays. Meals consist of a nutritious, hot lunch and breakfast for the following day. On Thursday, students receive lunch for Thursday, breakfast and lunch for Friday and breakfast for Monday. Summer meals are possible because of federal funds. Please note that meals will not be offered the week of June 30 - July 4.
