North Carolina’s House Bill 805 includes updates that affect how school libraries operate. Schools will now post their library catalogs online, and parents can review or restrict which titles their child may access. Our goal is to stay transparent and supportive as we follow the new law while continuing to foster a love of reading for every student.

Please complete the form below to request that your student be blocked from borrowing specific titles from classroom libraries. This request will remain on file for the remainder of the school year and reset on August 1st of each calendar year. If you have multiple students, you will need to complete this form one time for each student. If you have questions about this process, please contact the school Principal.
